Public health as targets to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote and protect the health populations by preventing diseases, promoting healthy behaviors and addressing health disparities through evidence-based strategies, focusing on community level interventions and policy development, essentially aiming to improve overall population health outcomes across communities.
The department of public health houses many programs including public health, Community health, perioperative theatre technology, health care support assistant, Certified nurse assistant, Community health and development, Social work, HIV/AIDS management, Orthopedic technology and Mortuary science.
